Do you guys think that it was a good idea for the writer's to kill off Terri Bauer? At first I thought, why'd they have to do that, but in the end i think that it was a good move, and really added to Jack's character and the show.

Hell yeah. Have you watched the alternate ending on the DVD? Such crap. And I'm not talking about comparing it to the death ending. I'm just talking about it in general: SUCH. CRAP.

Yeah i agree. After seeing the alternate ending, it made me realize what a great move it was to kill her off. Having her just cough then wake up in Jack's arms was a bit ridiculus.

I think that the ending to season 1 was the best of them all. It really brought out the emotional and personal part of Jack.

I think that the ending to season 1 was the best of them all. It really brought out the emotional and personal part of Jack. It also helped to structure his character throughout the other seasons, in my opinion.

yeah same here. it was such a shocker though, but it made the season better and helped develop jack's character.
