windows xp, windows 2000, linux, etc. if your computer is 5 years old it's probably windows 2000, ME, or possibly XP if you've upgraded.

wow, that's weird then. you should be able to save as a .jpg no problem.
ok, my sig is a .jpg image, so right click on it and click save picture as... you should be able to save as a .jpg, if not then there's something really weird.

When ur in powerpoint as u need a picture go find it and hit copy and then paste it. It is the simpliest thing ever. and if u need a bibliography, just put the URL of the pic into the Bibliography.
